I have turned this blog into a website! On this website you can find everything you see on this blog, plus my website is more organized than this blog and their are some new features, like the ability to add banners that link back to my website or any of the charity websites to your profile without asking me!

I have recently learned how to create banners that link to a website too! Just click the banner below to visit my website!

Please read this, these charities need your help.

Below is a list I have composed of useful, cheap and even free non-profit organizations. There are millions of sick, hungry and desperate people and animals that need your help. All I am asking is that you take the time to at least read this blog; you could help save a life in the process.

1) Free click-to-donate websites

How do they work?

Click-to-donate websites are all entirely free and all work basically the same way. When you click a button on their homepage the website will display a series of banners or buttons from their advertisers. All of the money these websites receive from their advertisers goes to their charity organization.

Greatergood's Sites

All of these websites were created by the same organization, Greatergood.org. They support many causes: hunger, breast Cancer, child health, literacy, rainforest and animal rescue.

The Hunger Site

The Breast Cancer Site

The Child Health Site

The Literacy Site

The Rainforest Site

The Animal Rescue Site

Care2.com

Care2.com is similar to the websites above, but they have a bit more of a selection of causes. Their selection of causes include: children, rainforest, big cats, breast Cancer, pets, baby seals, oceans, Global Warming, violence against women and wolves.

Freekibble

There are two Freekibble websites, one feeds shelter dogs and the other feeds shelter cats. On this website, they have tried to make the click-to-donate process fun. On the homepage of either site, you will be asked a trivia question; you just click the answer you think is right. Whether you get the question right or wrong, they will donate kibble.

FreeKibble.com

FreeKibbleKat.com

Freerice.com

Freerice.com is similar to the Freekibble websites. On this website, you will be given a series of trivia questions and for every answer you get right, Freerice will donate 10 grains of rice to the hungry. That may not seem like much, but in January of 2009 (that is just one month) they donated 2,416,239,520 grains of rice.

Ecology Fund supports endangered animals and endangered land. Their list of causes includes: South American rainforests, reducing pollution, endangered Mexican wildlife, United States wilderness, Canadian wildlife/land, expanding Scottish nature reserves, planting Oyamel Firs to save Monarch Butterflies in Mexico, and planting Chestnut trees.

If you buy a share of an animal, Heifer will give this animal to those in need after the organization receives the rest of the money necessary for its purchase.

If you are a vegetarian or just don't like the idea of your purchase causing the consumption of an animal, you can still buy honeybees or trees. People can sell honey to buy food and clothing and trees are necessary for a healthy ecosystem.
